In today’s high tech world we’re constantly being offered the latest gadgets and methods to use them to make our lives more “connected.”  In browsing the internet I recently discovered a company offering a great deal on cell phones and sharing that information is  the purpose of this blog post.

The company I discovered is Lightyear Wireless and they’re based in Louisville, Kentucky. They’re not a “startup” company at all. If you checked out the company, you already know that they’ve added a wireless component to their offerings and now cellular service is an exciting addition to the products and services they offer you.  How they offer it is what excited me!

Most businesses spend a large portion of their marketing funds with advertising agencies to get the word out to the public about their products and services. On average, telephone companies spend millions of dollars every week (maybe every day) to make you aware of what they want to sell you!  When they’re doing that… you know they have to make that money back, somehow, and the normal way is with lengthy contracts and higher prices.

Lightyear Wireless has adopted a marketing plan that allows you and me to share the word about what’s available from the company and WE are rewarded for our success in sharing the word instead of some advertising agency.
